Palestinian Territories: Israeli Forces Reportedly Carry Out Operation In Gaza

Israeli forces on Nov. 29 rolled into southern Gaza east of Al-Qarara town, Jordanian news agency Petra-JNA reported. Palestinian sources said Israeli forces backed by military vehicles, bulldozers and tanks bulldozed lands in the area, marking the first Israeli operation in the Gaza Strip since a cease-fire was reached after recent hostilities.

Egypt: President To Make Public Address

Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi will issue a public address at 7 p.m. local time Nov. 29 and is expected to call for national unity amid a crisis that started when Morsi issued a decree expanding his powers, Reuters reported. Meanwhile, the body in charge of writing a new Egyptian constitution is set to start voting on a final draft Nov. 29.
